Synopsis

“My Demon” is a story about the demon, Jung Gu Won, and the heiress Do Do Hee. As Gu Won loses his power in an event related to Do Hee, he finds out that he can only use his power when he touches her arm. As for Do Do Hee, during her fight for her heiress rights, she found out that many dangers were looming beside her.

Taking the opportunity that Gu Won could only use his power when he was with her, Gu Won became Do Hee’s bodyguard. As they work together, feelings start to develop between them.

🧸 My Feelings

For me, maybe I just like dramas that move fast, but for some reason despite the hype about My Demon around me, I thought it was a bit slow and boring. I remembered the first 5 episodes I was so into it, but then around episode 9, the hype started to die off—for me personally. If I have to review My Demon or if someone asks me about it, I would say “it was ok”.

I do like the visuals that come with My Demon though, I mean Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung looked SO GOOD. There were scenes where I went 😳. I did like the part where they knew each other in their past lives though, it hit the spot for me. Maybe I was way too influenced by one slow episode and watched it during exam season, which resulted in me thinking that it was way too slow and lost patience for it. I’ll try to give it another chance and will update this review then!

The soundtrack was actually pretty good! Whenever this one song comes on, I just knew something good (like a scene) was gonna happen.

This one song is what defines my demon for me. It sounds so dramatic and sets the vibe for everything.
