As the first half of 2024 passes by, several K-dramas created trends and took up the hot search during the period. Below, I’ve listed out the TOP 3 K-Dramas, released during Jan – May 2024, that I think is pretty good!
In this half, I watched Lovely Runner, Queen of Tears, Hierarchy, Marry My Husband and Dr Slump, so if you think I should try watching something else (released during this period), please let me know!
No. 1: Lovely Runner
This K-drama, I just love everything about this K-drama. Please watch. It has time-travelling, good music, amazing visuals and comedic scenes T-T. (I can’t list out all the amazingness)
It’s a story about how the FL’s favourite bias committed suicide, and she time travels back 15 years prior to save him.
No. 2: Queen of Tears
Although there were several plot holes, Queen of Tears is still one of the better-made, with a good plot (ep 1-10) K-dramas in my opinion. It started out super strong, and I would rewatch it for its beginning.
It’s basically a story about how the female lead is about to die soon, but her marriage is also falling apart. How will she and her husband find their love again?!
No. 3: Marry My Husband
I’m a simp for anything time travel, transmigration, reincarnation, and this one was—having another chance at living life, so I had to watch it. This drama is a story about how a girl lived her life again after knowing her husband cheated on her with her best friend.
I actually read the webtoon, and I do have to say, I enjoyed reading this more than watching it (That’s why it’s number 3!). Nonetheless, it’s a good one!
I didn’t rank Hierarchy because it didn’t really suit my taste, it was kind of heavy. As for Dr Slump, I think I like Park Shin Hye’s or Park Hyung-Sik’s other dramas more. If you like Park Shin Hye, I would recommend Pinnochio or The Doctors.
