In a small town and a tiny school, there is Yoon JunYoung, who suffers from physical abuse by her mother. To find a way out of this hellhole, she has continuously pursued academic achievements as her lifeline. However, whenever she returns home, JunYoung either suffers from her mom’s “episodes” or cleans up after her mom’s rampages, preventing her from studying efficiently. Thus, she finds an abandoned house up the mountain which is perfect for studying!

Unfortunately, one day, her classmate Kwon Beomjin, the town’s most frightening delinquent, starts using this house as a place to sleep! This begins their coexistence in the house, where JunYoung studies downstairs while Beomjin sleeps upstairs, with neither intruding on the other’s space.

I really like these kinds of manhwa, where the main leads both think of each other as their home/safety space. Beomjin and JunYoung grew up in unfortunate circumstances, but when they found each other, their lives started to brighten up with warmth. So when he suddenly had to go, I cried so much.

Apparently, JunYoung went to the police stations so many times just to find news about Beomjin’s disappearance.

Moreover, the second male lead is literally a huge field of red flags. I find him to be so annoying! Why can’t he just let go of JunYoung? [SPOILER] Even when he has an arranged marriage partner, he plans to leave his wife in South Korea after the marriage and stay in Europe. As JunYoung works at his company, he wants to forcefully transfer to Europe to make her his mistress. This is a huge red flag.

I can’t wait for Beomjin and JunYoung to get together. Like, please. (Currently, read manhwa until chapter 36)

The chapters are being released way too slowly, so when I read them, I keep forgetting what happened beforehand. I don’t feel satisfied. I really dislike ongoing manhwas because I have to wait for them.
